Information for Musicians and Musical Groups
The Madoc Canadian Heritage Music and Arts Festival is held annually in historic Madoc. The Festival is an important showcase for Canadian artistic and musical talent. A variety of entertainers will be presented throughout the weekend: Country & Blue Grass / East Coast / Rock / Jazz / etc.
The event features Canadian artists and performers. We believe that the restriction to Canadian talent is unique in this area and will add to the appeal and attraction of the event.
This years Festival takes place from June 19-20, 2010. It will consist of two musical venues (an indoor stage near the artists for acoustic/smaller groups and an outdoor venue under a large tent with stage lighting, and concert grade sound system for larger groups)
Our Festival works like a not-for-profit event with proceeds going to support the cost of next years event.
Insurance
Participants are responsible for their own insurance of instruments /amplifiers etc. and are encouraged to review their coverage with their present representative.
